Department of Clinical Sciences

  • Introduction

The Department of Clinical Sciences is actively engaged in educational activities, research, and professional services for the general public. Clinical sciences encompass a broad range of animal species, both domesticated and wild, and a vast variety of diseases that may impact diverse species. We are aware of the possible difficulties and complications associated with animal health and work together with our clients and recommending vets to achieve effective results. The Clinical Sciences team at MNSUAM has a diverse spectrum of knowledge, interests, and clinical experience. Our staff is actively involved in clinical services, which include illness diagnosis, treatment, and complete counseling for clients and referring veterinarians on animal health problems, queries, and challenges. Additionally, faculty members guide students undergoing clinical training at the University Veterinary Hospital to treat clinical difficulties in sick animals. The department treats over 1000 clinical cases every year in and around Multan. Additionally, the department educates students on large and small animal reproductive, infertility issues, obstetrical techniques, and post-treatment care for animals. Students are also taught clinical and surgical judgment, and problem-based thinking abilities, all of which are necessary for the profession. The University Veterinary Hospital has been developed and coupled with an ambulatory service, to assist livestock producers at their farms. Additionally, the department has the capability of arranging trainings and seminars for veterinarians, paravets, farmers, and industry stakeholders.
