Introduction
Established in 2015, the Department of Horticulture at MNS-University of Agriculture, Multan, is committed to the advancement of horticultural science and technology through quality education, cutting-edge research, and community outreach. Horticulture—the science and art of cultivating fruits, vegetables, ornamental plants, and landscape—is a cornerstone of sustainable agriculture and environmental enhancement, contributing significantly to food security, economic development, and quality of life.
The department offers a broad spectrum of undergraduate and postgraduate courses designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Our B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program with a major in Horticulture covers core subjects such as plant propagation, nursery management, canopy and floor management, production technologies, landscape design, and turf management.
